The Most Dangerous Sin We Never Talk About

Well, maybe not the most dangerous — perhaps that is pride. But I seldom know of anyone who speaks on the matter of…

PREMARITAL SEX

A desire ingrained in us all,
we are often told to pursue such pleasure.

Meanwhile, no one asks, “at what cost?”
Premarital sex is a sin — no doubt.

But most of what is biblically sinful is not sinful because the Lord wants us to be miserable, nor because He hates pleasure & joy (He did tell Adam and Eve to fill the Earth, after all).

Rather, premarital sex and many other well known sinful acts or thoughts or desires are such because they are Harmful.

Like any good father, our Father sets rules for us to abide by — not out of a desire to control, but out of a never-ending love that wishes to see us fulfilled.

And we have a choice; do we listen or do we go our own way?

Sex before marriage is dangerous. The physical coupling of two into one is not merely a physical act, nor is it to be taken lightly. The emotional waterfall that follows is not avoidable; you and your partner in this dance become ONE.

Not temporarily,
but permanently.

As the devil works diligently to ensure you think otherwise.

Recklessly pursuing sex — even with a long term partner you are not married to — is dancing with destruction.

For fleeting physical pleasure you debate with destroyed pair bonding and everlasting emotional harm.

And if someone says to you, “stop taking it so seriously!!”

Just know that like other addicts, those who are most jaded and destroyed themselves will encourage others to stoop to their destructive level.

So now we are all the more wise;
1. Sex was created to emotionally bond two physical beings for life, and this is why God has confined it to marriage.
2. The Lord wants you to not only have sex, but enjoy it — He created it after all.
3. Yahweh wishes you do so under one condition in order to minimize or eliminate harm.
