The story of the dog that lay inside goes back generations. In Chinese mythology, some claims have been made asserting that certain ethnic groups may have a magical dog as an original ancestor. I am not Chinese, and though my father is from Mobile, Alabama, I am 80% positive that there is no dog in my bloodline.
Yet still, in certain situations throughout any given day, I find myself boggled and with only one explanation; “I must have ended up here because i got that dog in me.”
